46 Ryder’s Cove Road, North Chatham, MA, 02650
RCBY’s marina location is situated in an ideal spot for any water-based activity a boater can dream of. Sheltered by the outer beach barrier and by a series of winding inlets, RCBY is one of the most protected coves in Chatham. In fact, many boats seek refuge in Ryder’s Cove during severe weather due to its safe topography and protection from the Atlantic. Not only is it safe, but it is also close to everything! Within minutes of boarding your boat, you can find yourself enjoying a drink at the Wequasset Resort in Pleasant Bay, ordering a cup of chowder and spotting seals at Chatham Fish Pier, or water skiing in Crow’s Pond. Many of our customers enjoy spending long days at North Beach, a barrier island only accessible by boat that offers the best (and least-crowded) beach days on cape! Chatham also provides top-tier fishing, and is particularly known for its bass, tuna, and bluefish. After leaving Ryder’s Cove, many fishermen head south towards Monomoy for spectacular fishing and shark spotting. Another option for your day on the water is whale watching – Later in the summer, humpbacks whales put on spectacular shows that could compete with any nature documentary, sometimes as close as two or three miles offshore! If you have a little extra time on your hands, Nantucket is an easily accessible day trip from RCBY. Of course, there is always the option to kick back, drop an anchor and relax the entire day. Whatever type of boater you are, RCBY is the perfect location to keep your boat safe and ready for the next adventure.
